Detailed reporting and communications

You can access a range of reports to profile your plan and your employees through BT’s online portal QuickSuper. We’ll also communicate with you and your employees on a regular basis to ensure that your plan is running smoothly.

Superannuation reports

Report Description
Member summary List of address, date of birth, salary and date joined company, by member.
Contributions List of contributions by type (Award Super Guarantee (‘SG’), Employer fully vested, Member voluntary etc), with totals by member for a given period.
Investment profile Investment type (conservative, moderate) by member age bracket.
Invalid address List of members whose address details require updating. A member will show on this report if BT twice receives returned mail for the member.
Superannuation Guarantee Lists SG details of your members for a selected reporting period. Details from this report can be mail merged to produce a standard employee SG letter for each member.
Investment options Percentage of member balances against the total balance of your plan per investment option.
Choice employees List of employees who have made a choice of fund selection.

 

 

 

Insurance reports

Report Description
Life insurance (including Total and Permanent Disablement) Date of birth, insurance rating, sum insured and monthly premium, by member.
Salary continuation insurance Salary Continuation Insurance Report including date of birth, insurance rating, date joined plan, sum insured, and monthly premium, by member.
Insurance categories A list of insurance categories and corresponding insurance design applicable to your plan

 

 

 

Communication packages

As a BT employer, you’ll receive:

  1. New employer pack
    The new employer pack contains all the details of your plan including a statement and the fee structure. We’ll provide reports on your insurance plan and include everything you need to stay organised such as your QuickSuper login details and a new fund checklist.
  2. Policy Committee Kit
    If your plan has 50 or more employees, you’ll receive a kit explaining all aspects of how a Policy Committee works and how the trustee can facilitate the process of establishing your Policy Committee. If your plan has less than 50 members, but five or more members request a Policy Committee, we can send you a Policy Committee kit on request.
  3. End of year communications
    Before the end of each financial year and prior to issuing annual statements to your employees, we’ll contact you so that you can confirm your employees’ details, contributions and insurance benefits.
  4. Annual Report
    The annual report, accessible online through QuickSuper, will provide you with information about changes and enhancements to BT Super, along with updated information on all the investment options over the financial year.
  5. Notices of changes to super
    We’ll send you important notices on changes in super and relevant tax legislation to help you meet your obligations, such as changes in contributions caps, Super Guarantee (SG) changes and reforms.
  6. Quarterly Employer News
    We’ll email you a quarterly newsletter to keep you up-to-date with the latest on changes to legislation, products and services, fund performance and economic updates, as well reminding you of upcoming deadlines such as SG cut-off dates.
